About our Comfy Cozy Cottage

   We're on a gravel road set on three acres and pet friendly, sharing the property with our pet resort. Your pet will be given special treatment and a deeply discounted stay in our pet resort during your stay.

Ask us about boarding your pet or pets during your stay. Although we do not allow pets in the cottage due to possible allergies of other guests we do offer deeply discounted rates for your pet in our pet resort during your stay.

     Bike trails and rentals are nearby as is the American River where you can rent rafts, swim or fish. We are approx. 2 miles from the Ancil Hoffman Park nature center and golf course.

     Located less than ten miles NE of Sacramento we're 1-2 hours or less to Napa Wine Country, San Francisco Bay Area, Historic Gold Country and The Foothills, Historic Jackson and the Delta, Sutter Creek, Locke and other Northern California sites. Or we're a little farther, but still close to Monterey, Mendocino, Fort Bragg or Stinson Beach and even Clearlake and Lake Tahoe in the Sierra are nearby day-trips. You can take in a show or try your luck in the casinos at Thunder Valley, Reno or South Shore Lake Tahoe.

 We may not be fussy, frilly or ruffled but we are comfortable, providing everything to make you feel at home including high thread count linens, plush towels and terry cloth robes plus all the kitchen utensils needed to enjoy the fresh produce abundant in our area.

    There are many farmers markets close by and we have a large garden where you can pick corn or tomatoes and many other fresh vegetables in season.

    Our cottage has one bedroom and one bath, air conditioning and heating included so you'll be comfortable all year. We have a pool in season too and we're about an hour from great skiing, and of course, free wifi!
